Redcliffe Show has a Jam-packed program in store for June 24, 25, 26
The night entertainment program will be taken to a new level at this year’s Redcliffe Show with a fleet of crazy cars to battle it out in the main ring, a V8 ute challenge and the return of the wheel of steel.
Secretary Barbara Mapp said the show, which is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, offered a full program of ring events and displays during the day and plenty of action at night.
“For me the wheel of steel is the highlight, but everyone loves the fireworks,” Mrs Mapp said.
The Redcliffe & Bayside Herald is sponsoring the fireworks on Friday night.
“I think everyone should come along because it’s a great family atmosphere and a variety of things to suit everyone’s tastes including the music festival on Sunday,” she said
Mrs Mapp said she had been keeping a close eye on the weather forecast for the weekend and while it looked OK at this stage, she would have her fingers crossed.
She said about 300 Prep students would join in activities on Friday and she praised the high standard of school work presented for judging.
