Translink : Apply online for tertiary concession fares before 30 June!

If you are a full-time tertiary student studying at university, TAFE or a post-secondary institution, you may be eligible for tertiary concession fares.

Apply online for tertiary concession fares to be activated on your go card before 30 June to avoid paying adult fares!

From 1 July 2016, if you have not applied online for tertiary concession fares to be activated on your tertiary concession go card, your go card will be updated to charge adult fares.

Even if you already have a valid green tertiary concession go card, you still need to apply online for concession fares to be activated on your go card.

If your tertiary concession go card has expired or if you need a new go card, you will need to buy a new adult go card and apply online for tertiary concession fares to be activated on your go card.

As of 1 April 2016, tertiary students can no longer:

extend the expiry date of their tertiary student concession go card; and

purchase a concession paper ticket; and

purchase a tertiary concession go card*.
