The Brisbane Convoy For Kids will roll through Redcliffe for the sixth year in a row on Saturday, 7 November, to support Redcliffe Special Schools, Redcliffe PCYC and Hummingbird House.
This year, the convoy will leave Heathwood at 11am sharp, winding its way along the Logan Motorway, Gateway and Deagon Deviation before crossing in to Redcliffe, where it will travel along the waterfront and finally end at the Redcliffe Showgrounds.
We are already getting calls from the public to find out our route so they can get the best vantage points to watch the convoy before heading to the showgrounds, said Brisbane Convoy for Kids President, Anthony Williams.
Williams added that Summit Tower Hire will be there again for those brave enough to go sky high to get a view of Redcliffe, and if trucks and utes arent your thing, there will be plenty of stalls, rides, displays and auctions.
Reportedly, there will also be fireworks and entertainment again, with acts including Travis Sinclair, Jayne Denham, Aussie Aussie Aussie, Rufus John Puppet Show, Lana Ross, up-and-coming star Chandler Jay, Stone Vandals and Shotgun Duo.
The inaugural Queen of the Convoy contest will be judged at 2pm
