Homelessness Week, 6-12 August, is an annual week coordinated by Homelessness Australia to raise awareness of people experiencing homelessness, the issues they face and the action needed to achieve enduring solutions.
This year’s theme for Homelessness Week is “Ending Homelessness Together’’.
Micah Projects is a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing services and opportunities in the community to create justice and respond to injustice.
Micah Projects is working in collaboration with its partners to end homelessness.
Our efforts to identify the gaps in the supply of affordable housing in Brisbane, and the ongoing need to match housing, health and support services for the most vulnerable in our community, are all important.
As one of the many events being held across the nation, Micah Projects will be hosting a Community BBQ at one of its Hope Street Social Enterprise Cafés, Hope On Boundary Café, West End, Brisbane.
This event will provide an opportunity for community to connect in support of seeking solutions to end homelessness and find out about our programs.
