Get your popcorn ready! Norfolk Lakes Park will be transformed into an outdoor cinema when Moreton Bay Regional Council plays host to a special starlight screening of The Secret Life of Pets on Saturday 7 October.
Councillor for Division 11, Darren Grimwade, said the outdoor movie screening would be a great night out for the whole family to enjoy.
“From 4pm there will be plenty of pre-movie entertainment including a jumping castle, face painting and magic show,” Cr Grimwade said.
“The Narangba United Soccer Club will be scouting local talent with a Shoot for Goal competition while Narangba’s very own Kayla McArthur will be performing live music.
“There will also be plenty of movie snacks on offer with fairy floss, popcorn and slushies available for purchase throughout the afternoon.
“The Norfolk Lakes Neighbourhood Watch will also be running a fundraising sausage sizzle on the day.
“All proceeds from the sale of food on the night will go towards local community and sporting groups.
“So bring along your own chair, blanket or picnic rug and find a comfy spot to enjoy the film with your family.”
The special starlight movie screening of The Secret Life of Pets [G] will begin at 7.00pm on Saturday 7 October.
Norfolk Lakes Park is located on MacDonald Drive, Narangba.
