Due to recent wet weather as well as further rainfall this morning, tonight’s BBQ & Bonfire Night at Wamuran Sports Complex has been cancelled.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
A sizzling barbecue, smoking bonfire and live music will all be on the menu at the Wamuran Sports Complex on Saturday, May 13 for Moreton Bay Regional Council’s BBQ and Bonfire event.
Division 12 Councillor Adrian Raedel said beginning at 5.30pm talented local artists Jesse Davis, Ruby Gilbert and Mikara Grant-Freeman would take to the stage for an evening of free entertainment.
“There will be plenty of food options including a barbecue, pizza, donuts, potato twisters and coffee,” Cr Raedel said.
“Monies raised will help to support a range of local groups including Wamuran Men’s Shed and Woodford Ambulance Station.
“A barbecue, bonfire and live music – it’s the perfect way to spend a Friday night.”
BBQ and Bonfire is a free event running 5.30pm to 8.30pm on Friday 16 June 2017 at Wamuran Sports Complex, Campbells Pocket Road, Wamuran. Please note no glass or alcohol is permitted.
BBQ and Bonfire is proudly supported by Councillor Adrian Raedel.
