Meet author Josephine Moon at Bribie Island Library

Join Brisbane author Josephine Moon at Bribie Island Library for the launch of her latest novel The Gift of Life next month.

Spokesperson for Lifestyle and Amenity Councillor Denise Sims said author events were a hit in the region and encouraged residents to book the date in their calendar.

“Libraries’ Meet the Author events are a popular drawcard with over 2,000 attendees last year,” Cr Sims said.

“We’ve already seen best-selling authors like Sally Hepworth, Candice Fox and Charlotte Nash visit our region and just a few weeks ago award-winning author Mark Brandi stopped by Albany Creek Library to have a chat.

“Josephine Moon will be another fantastic name to add to the growing list of talented authors visiting our region.”

The Gift of Life delves into the complexities of life, of love and of loss.

“These events provide fantastic professional development opportunities for locals who have a flair for writing or might actually be aspiring authors themselves,” Cr Sims said.

“I’d certainly encourage anyone with the time to get along to these events, it’s an enriching experience to meet such talented writers and hear their perspectives firsthand.”
