MBRC : The Keeper Exhibition
Are you an avid collector? Do you want to share your passion and have your interesting, unusual or quirky collection exhibited at Redcliffe Museum? Then Council wants to hear from you.
Spokesperson for Lifestyle and Amenity Councillor Denise Sims said council was inviting residents to submit their collection or collections for The Keeper exhibition, which would be held between February 22 and May 26 at the Redcliffe Museum next year.
“Whether it's bottles or baskets, records or radios, teddy bears or tins, even model planes, trains and automobiles - Redcliffe Museum wants to hear from you,” Cr Sims said.
“But this exhibition is more than just collections from local collectors it’s also about the stories behind the collection, which will spark conversation among those who view the exhibition.
Councillor for Division 6 Koliana Winchester said those who would like to share their collection with council could do so by jumping on to council’s website and submit an expression of interest.
“The Keeper celebrates those who love collecting and want to share that love,” she said.
“Expressions of interest close on Friday, October 26 and collectors will be notified between 12 November 2018 and 23 November 2018.”
